Is halo wars actually any good?

so ive been hearing of this halo RTS for a long time now on the 360, but i always thot, an RTS, on the 360? i mean really? is that gonna be any fun?

so i recently decided to get the demo, and i thought the demo was kinda, meh, i dont no just didnt contain longevity like an RTS should, and it seemed kind of limited in the things you could do

however, i didnt play it online or anything so i wouldnt no if its any good there, but ive been an RTS person all my life, especially starcraft

ive played starcraft for years and years and ive loved it, it just has the longevity, but i really wonder if halo wars has that cuz im hearing more and more people say its a fantastic game

so anyone out there who has halo wars wanna put in their two cents? i really just want to no if you think this game will have longevity like other RTS's

well, not if you're comparing it to starcraft

i mean starcraft was one of the best RTS's out there and Starcraft 2 probably WILL be the most groundbreaking RTS ever made

but i personally like halo wars and ive been playing it non-stop, once u get online its a completely different experience, especially when ur doing 3v3's

i agree with nick, nothing can beat starcraft man, best RTS made hands down

but i have to say halo wars is near the top of my list, i played it at my friends house and it was surprisingly ALOT of fun, i say just get it, at least it keeps u occupied until SC2 comes out
