Is Halo Wars another one of those spec-ops games?

The kind of game that i don't really like is those games like the spec ops. You know the alpha/beta/charlie kind? I don't like it. And i have seen the gameplay for it and it looks like it. SO WHAT'S THE DEAL ON HALO WARS? IS IT LIKE THE FIRST 3 HALOS OR IS IT LIKE SPEC OPS?
