This game is fun but it depends on what type of games you.
Im not really sure what you like, but what you can do to see if you like it is, go to the xbox live market place and play the halo wars demo.

if you are a really big halo fun that you should at least rent it and try it out but if you aren't there are better strategy games out there

It depends on what made you like Halo.
I love the halo games cuz of the FPS fast paced run and gun shooting.
Halo Wars is nothing like this.

You pretty much select a group of soldiers, tell them to go their, and hope they win the battle. You have no control over anything other than that. Its dumb I think, waste of 60$ if you get it. The video graphics are great, but the gameplay graphics arent amazing. All in all, wait a few more months till Halo : ODST. I think you'll like it more.
