Is Halo Wars Trueskill a joke?

I have had this game for 3 weeks now and have played over 100 games. Out of these 100 games I have won 61 giving me over 60% in the win/loss factor. I won 5 games in a row today and my trueskill didn't go up and remains on 12. I can beat my friends who I play with and they are ranked in the 30's. What do I have to do to get my skill up because winning games clearly isn't enough.

true skill isn't just based on how many wins it is based on who you beat, say you beat someone below you you won't get any points but if it is someone high above you you will get more points, it is also how well you performed overall and if it was a crushing or marginal victory.

You Need To Get Age Of Empires 1,2 And 3 Then Have A Savegame Of Each On Your Memory Card. Its A Little Joke From The Developers.
