Is halo wars worth buying other than just for the mythic maps for halo 3?

Is halo wars a good game or is like crackdown, a mediocre game that they put halo 3 beta on just so it would sell more copies?

if you like halo and command and conquer than their isn't a better game for you!!! Its a mix between the two. HOW COULD YOU GET ANY BETTER? But to answer your question YES it is worth the $60.

It is going to be agood game in my opinean. It takes place before halo 1 and is more of a stratige game. You get to place the chatacers and vehicles in the game. You can have more than 1 sparten scince they haven't died yet in the story line. For the first time in multiplayer you can use the covenent charactors. So just imagen owning your friends with a group if hunters, a pack of pruts, and the prophet giving them orders. The system to select the troops is lso said to be very easy to navigate.
