Is Halo wars worth buying...will it be the same as the rest of the halo series?

I've checked out all the halo games both on the pc and on the xbox 360.I finished playing halo 3 and completed the game about 2 months ago.I waited for the release of halo wars but found out that it is a strategy type of game not a first person shooter.So is it worth buying or not?

No, halo wars sucks compared to the other halos. Do not buy it if you are a halo fps fan. It just plain sucks, because bungie sold the halo name and somebody else made it, and now it sucks

it depends if you're into RTS games or not. I never really played starcraft or warcraft 3 that much, but I think its an amazing game, and surprisingly it works on a console.
