Is Halo Wars worth buying?

ok, im wondering if i should buy halo wars, i mean ive played and enjoyed Starcraft for PC, for years, and halo wars is very similar. should i buy it? ive heard good and bad reviews of this game...

Well it depends on what you're looking for in the game. I thought I would like Halo Wars, so I downloaded the demo. I've always been a huge fan of all the Halo games and I like some strategy war games, like Age of Empires, so I thought I would enjoy the combo. But after playing the demo, I found it really wasn't my kind of game--too much strategy for me. So if you really love strategy kind of games then I would consider buying it, but don't buy it only because it's another branch off from the Halo series. Hope this helps!
