metal gear solid 4 or halo 3?

my friend and i are arguing about this and personally i choose the only good answer:Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots.it is going to be the best game ever.halo 3 was a big let down,only a short story mode and weird 2 player,but still,was a good game,but i and many others expected it to be better

mgs4 for sure. it is going to be the game tht changes the standard for games everywhere. the graphics arec AMAZING and beats halo 3 in every category. mgs4 all the way!

I'm a Halo fan, I would say Halo, but if you are planning to play it via Xbox Live, I must warn you to be ready for douchebags, there's always jerks playing Halo online. I won't lie though, MGS4 does look promising. The thing I don't like about MGS is its too cinematic for me. (if that makes any sense to you)

Halo 3 was a big but short fad, lost its popularity. Noone plays it anymore, CoD4 completely kills halo. MGS4 will have great gameplay and even better graphics.

Metal Gear, hands down. Just because someone does better numbers doesnt make it better game. A lot of bs videogames, music and movies do great numbers but that doesnt mean they are worth a damn. Halo is a great multiplayer game, but its story is half assed. Metal Gear has an awesome storyline, and is going to ship with online multiplayer so again I say Metal Gear, hands down.

Halo 3 was not designed to be played for its story mode. Its sole purpose was online play. Its has sold far more copies then the MGS has and continues to have a significant impact.

MGS is more of a single player game, so you dont have the interaction or demand.

I say MGS4 will be so much better than Halo3. I like Halo3 but it has a very short and easy campaign. Its online multiplayer is good but MGS4 will be better. MGS4 will probably take a while to complete but if it's like MGS2 it will be to easy.

depends on what your playing for! for an intense online muliplaying warfare with many original and very cool things halo3 is your game all day!
On the other hand for strategic warfare with an awesome story and its own array of originals metal gear solid 4 - its a toss up , but Halo for online play and metal gear for campaign(story) mode
