my halo 3 mods dont work?

i have all the softwer and hook up my harddrive to my computer but all my maps i modded dont work they are just black and i have to restart my 360 when ever i go on them and yes i rehsh and resine my maps any help would be good

It's because you shouldn't be using them, just play the game.
