my parents let me get call of duty world at war and halo 3 but not Assassins creed 2?

i really want to get this game but my parents wont let me get Assassins creed 2 . but they will let me get call of duty world at war and halo 3. Are those games worse or better?? And what is Assassins creed 2 rated m for?
