My Xbox live cuts out during team games on Halo 3!!!?

But not on lone wolves. I then have to leave halo 3 and go to network settings. do a test connection which tells me the connection is fine. i'm then able to reconnect to xbox live... only to cut out again during a halo 3 team or squad battle. PLEASE HELP!
