my xbox live cuts out in halo 3 and my other games work would it be the router

coz its about 1 year old ? help? hi do u think it is the router that stuffs up coz in halo 3 it work about 50 % of the time but before the game when you veto all the peoples names go away and just mine is there also some of my other games work fine never disconnects so is it the router its 1 year old or the game ? i dont know help me thanks

does your multilayer session end or does the game crap out? if the game freezes, etc, than you need to buy a new copy, if its multilayer than its just a bad connection. Either way, its nothing to do with your router, since that would effect all games only. You can always just plug straight into the modem and test it yourself though.

I would say that's a problem with the router, try resetting it or getting a new one, I have problems with NAT type playing some of my friends on Halo and CoD, resetting my router helps avoid problems like yours
