Ok so Halo 3 ended with Master chief and Cortana wondering in space. What

happened to them? Where is Master Chief and Cortana?
I watched the Legendary ending it's just weird how they would just be set adrift and leave everyone on a suspensful cliff hanger. aaaahhhhh!!!! lol I have a PS3 now, just wanted to know if there was any new vids floating the net with them touching down or not. Just something I think the CHIEF deserved a better way to go out! but MS can kiss my a$$, with teir crappy consoles and useless service.

Only the front of the Dawn made it through the slip space rupture before it collapsed, cutting the ship in half. This leaves them in the back half a ship floating through space, likely waiting years for Cortana's message to reach the Humans or Elites. The ending was made that way to leave room for a Halo 4.
