on halo 3 matchmaking, forge, how can u be master cheif instead of spartan?

its just ur master cheif on story but spartan on matchmaker but how can u change character on matchmaking

its in yur personal settings... ur a spartan or a elite in Matchmaking..

His names NOT Halo! Its Master Chief! anyways you cant be him. Gotta make his armor color Sage if you wanted to. Matchmaking lets you be an elite, just view the other answers.

Edit: the guy below me says he "pwned noobs" but also said he played it at his friends house, he doesn't even own the game, therefore making him a noob, a noob can't pwn noobs, a noob can just get pwned like all the other noobs, therefore his answer is irrelevant.

You cannot actually be Master Chief. You can LOOK like him, by customizing your color and armor choices under appearances, but there is no actual way to be him.

You can not be master chief in matchmaking. However, if you hit the start button, then move the analog stick to the right, then click appearance, then click armor, you can change from a Spartan to an Elite.
