Ok here is my opinion. If you are looking to have a game that is single player and want to last you a VERY long time, go with Fallout 3. I wasn't too thrilled about it but it is good. Halo 3 is a must if you have online and if you know the story. Left 4 Dead is better to play on PC. I see more people online instead of Xbox 360. Gears Of War 2 is a good companion for Halo 3 but the problem is being hooked on to both. So in my opinion go with Halo 3 for online and off (its good when you have friends over to play with), Fallout 3 (this if for yourself and when your bored and have time), and you pick either Gears of War 2 or Left 4 Dead. Here is the line between both. Online is better for GoW2 then L4D. But L4D is cool when offline and same for GoW2. So go with Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Fallout 3 (thats if you have a PC to run L4D in the future). If not switch around Fallout 3 for L4D or GoW2 for L4D. Your choice.
