the update didn't make everyone's rank reset...What are you talking about?? I was a general before and after the update. Well anyways, when you start off and are in the matchmaking lobby, hit x and then select Similar skill level Which will get you paired up with people who are exactly around your level. If ranked is to hard for you, just try starting off in social slayer, which is never hard so you'll fit in fine there. However, the best way to get better is to play with someone who is better than you in custom games, then you can head out and play ranked so you can level up easier than if you had accumulated experience in social slayer or ranked when you lose multiple games. Don't worry if you're just buying the game though, you won't face the masters because you'll be in the lower levels with people who are similar to your skill, and if you want you can even make it so that the range of players is exactly at your level.
