POLL: do you like the game halo wars?

what are some of its good and bad sides and is it a strategy game or a 1st person shooter

Halo Wars is like LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth and Warcraft (not WoW). Strategy. I think it's pretty cool to control the whole army and stuff but I think 1st-person shooters like Halo are much more fun.

You dont have to think hard, the campaign is unbelievably easy and its even easier on co-op and the online is mediocre as its the same thing every time, i got a refund on it today, i dont think its worth full price, probably buy it back when its like £20.

Good thing - CGI scenes are amazing

I haven't played it yet. But in the past Bungie has strived for quality games even at the cost at a later release date and I believe this to be no different.

This is an RTS game (Real Time Strategy like Starcraft). There's a campaign mode that you can play by yourself or cooperatively over XBL. In the campaign you can only play as the humans but there are varying commanding officers that change the way that you can play. In Skirmish games you can also play as the Covenant who also have varying commanding officers.

Well actually this is the first halo game where u have to control your army instead of role-play.

I would say the bad side is, you have to think really really hard

Good thing is, you could like see every Brute that is going to attack u..
