Question with new halo 3 Achievements?

Do you still have to complete all achievements to get full gamer score? Or do the new added Halo 3 achievents count? There was an original of 49 achievements now there's 79 I think..

Do you have to completele all 79 then to get the Katana?

There is not definite answer but there are two ways to get the Katana...

-Get 1000 G with all the ORIGINAL achievements
-Or get like 1200 G with anyone you want
