Bearing in mind that Rakim has probably got lyrically rusty over the past decade and a lot of the people who name drop his status as the God MC probably forget that he isn't always super lyrical.

Has the hype of him as a legend already KO'd any chance of The Seventh Seal being a good album?

I don't think too many people are really expecting The Seventh Seal to be on the same level as his previous work (hopefully it will be better than The Master though). I think people just want to hear something new from him. Personally, I expect it to be in the 3.5 to 4 star range.
