Should a ten year old boy be allowed to play Halo 3?

The boy has played it before about 4 times. His father told him do what you think is right. Now the boy would say yes, but i don't want him to ruing his life playing that! Please help!

I cant play it and im 13, but meh friends little brother is 8 and he also got COD 4...:(. This doesnt make any sense, i thought the 17+ yrs ban on buying M games was supposed to stop this..

It depends wholly on his maturity, his ability to handle violence, and your judgment as a parent. It's definitely not going to "ruin his life", but it might cause mental problems later in life, if he's predisposed to being conditioned from games. It's a lot better choice than, say, Call of Duty - In Halo you only kill aliens, and get punished if you kill your allies.

I'm inclined to say no, though - their squeaky voices over the microphones on Xbox Live sound like nails on a chalkboard.

I say yes cuz if hes 10 then he should b able to play it as long as hes mature anddoesnt want to kill anybody in real life

Yes as long as the microphone is off so people will not hear is very annoying high pitched voice

We are not to judge others for what is going on in there lives. So if the father says yes then it is done
