should i buy halo 3 or rock band?

Rockband is better of you want to play single player because Halo 3's single player portion is short. Also, Rockband's local multiplayer is better because it doesn't involve a split screen and features more interactivity with the controler. But if you plan to play a lot of multiplayer, then I would recomend Halo 3 becuase Halo 3 has a really well developed Xbox Live community.

i would say halo 3 definately if you didn't have anybody to play with and plus the online play is very good. but if you have a lot of friends a family that are always over and like to play, i would say rockband.

Now that's tough.
If you have xbox live gold I would say Halo 3 and Rockband are both good candidates, if you do NOT have gold then I'd definetley go with Rockband.
Halo 3's campaign mode I think is too short, but online multiplayer is very fun.
Rockband is fun solo and online.

I would say if you want to save money go with Halo 3 and if not go with Rockband..both are excellent games.
