should i buy halo wars?

getting an xbox and am getting halo 3 first but im wondering is halo wars worth my money and is it xbox live compatible
i enjoy rts games i would like to hear the pros and cons

In my opinion, Halo Wars is nothing but a cheap, under-produced, and completely useless game. It is very boring, has bad graphics and has a stupid plot. But still get Halo 3.

Its not like other halo games. It is a real time strategy similar to age of empires. I believe it has one first person shooter level too. I would buy it, even if its not the same as the other games it will be a fun game and it will show the story in more depth.
