Should I Get Halo 3 or Call of Duty: World at War?

I'm thinking about getting one of them. I've played halo 2 before and I thought it was okay and not the best and I really enjoyed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 & 2. But I heard that Call of Duty 5 is pretty violent. Help me decide which one I should get please!

I have both of them but i would say call of duty world at war because it has new guns and perks. Halo 3 is pretty much just like the second game but it goes on about the storyline. So if it was me call o duty world at war all the way. And if you get it my gamer tag is xGES SEGx

is this even a question Halo 3 of course! call of duty world at war is violant but thats not why u see call of duty abandened single player long ago and they just like multiplayer.this sucks for me cause where i live i cant get xbox live not good enought internet.even with internet cod waw is worse than Halo 3.Halo 3 has excllent single player offline and online multiplayer.and waw nazi zombies sucks and gets boring FAST!if u wanna zombie game then go with left 4 dead or resident evil anyhow Halo 3 is the choice for u Unlike call of duty Halo does not let the single player or offline multiplayer spirit die!Im sure if your smart ull go with halo 3.Halo 3 single player is playable again and again once u beat cod waws ull never do it again!

I would probably say Call of Duty: World at War if your more interested in more realistic gaming, but then again, if you like the Halo storyline and you are more interested in aliens and more fictional campaign, then I say go for it. But really, its your choice.
