Sounds like cheering in Legendary campaign in Halo 3?

So my husband and his brother are trying to pass the Legendary campaign in Halo 3. Wondering what all that cheering is, like when they are engaged with the enemy? I swear it sounds like little kids cheering! Any info would be great!

Yes that happens when you find a certain skull. Now when ever you kill a grunt with a head shot they will all go yayyyyy whooooo nothing no be worried about

That would be the happy birthday grunt skull. Every time you kill a grunt by a headshot there is cheering, plus there is a little bit of conffeti where the grunt is. I love that skull, it's so fun.
