This is my first time playing halo 3 help?

I am gonna be playing halo 3 tonight and it is my first time playing any tips? we are gunna be playing vs eachother? please answer

I would say, pick a weapon and get good at it. the easiest weapon would be the battle rifle and shotgun combo. you can replace the shotgun with any other rapid firing gun so long as you have a weapon to attack with at really close range. Carry a few grenades at all times, they really come in handy. Try and aim for the head. if you are new, just try and hit someone. Remember: Play smart, not hard.
