Very strange halo 3 box art? plz look (pics included)?

I bought halo 3 used from amazon recently. I wanted the normal version, which i ordered, but i got different artwork than the usual.

I apologize they are upside down. The back is master chief and arbiter on a mongoose. This looks authentic, i dont think it is pirated.

Any ideas on why it is like that?
