What are good 1v1 strategies in Halo Wars?

I'm just looking for real good rush strategies for 1v1 Standard mode in Halo Wars for Xbox 360. If rushes are good, then which rush should I do? Thanks!

Arbiter rush banshees, get about 5 to 8 then attack with them and the Arbiter. Although, in my experience rushes don't work too well in 1 vs 1, most people play it safe and defend which makes it hard for the rush to be effective.
