What are the factions in halo wars? How many? Play as Flood?

Are there any problems with the game. Is there off-line Skirmish mode?
It may have covonent aircraft exbert,
Tank Exbert and super weapon exbert like CC

I'm pretty sure theres just covenant and humans. As for off-line Skirmish. I doubt there is a split screen but you could probably do system link.

As far as I know it's just like any other RTS, so all those modes would be there.
There's only two factions, Covenant and Flood, because it's Pre-Halo 1.
You cannot play as flood, although they play some part in the storyline.

Halo wars is awesome! There is an off-line skirmish mode. How it is you have to pick a leader.Either from the Covenant or UNSC. Each leaders has a Leader power, Unique unit, super upgrade and a economy bonus.For example one of the playable leaders is Captain Cutter. His Leader power is called A Mac Blast Basically its a big bomb fired from the Spirit of fire. His unique unit is the elephant. Its a mobile infantry trainer. With his super unit you can upgrade Marines to ODST's. And when you play as him his economy bonus allows you to start with more slots on your base. You can not play as the flood but you will fight them! I have not run into any problems YET. Over all it is a great game and I recommend buying it.
