What happens at the End Of Halo 3 I forgot...?

I have beat the game like 4 times but its kinda shady, I know ALL ABOUT master Chief however, is earth still around or was it destroyed... I thought we destroyed the Halo ring wouldn't that destroy the Universe?

We detonated the Halo Ring and killed the Flood. The Covenant became our new allies, as they rebelled against the weird religion the Elders had (or whatever they were called, the old men in wheelchairs). Earth is still there. If you watched the Legendary ending, you saw the Masterchief floating through space and he comes across what looks like a big planet. He says something to Cortana, then the game cuts to the credits. (At least, that's how I remember it all.)

well its kinda hard to explain... they destroyed one halo ring that destroyed the flood planet but the covinet was going to fire all the rings and kill everything but they didn't know that they thought they had absolute power if they fired it. but when masterchief and arbiter left flood planet the ship or friget half of it got split in half and arbiter crashed on earth and masterchiefs it still in space alive but then he put him in those freezer thingys if u beat the game wait after the credits it shows a little clip

at the end u r at the won place on the cars and u have to get out of there cuse every thing is falling and no he doesnt take off his hel met thats a rumor oh and after that u land in the ship and the end!!!!!!! HOPE THIS HELPED
