What is Halo Wars?????????

I only own a PS3, but I want to know what halo wars is all about.
Is it a huge game like halo 3 was?
How much will it sell?
And why is it released 1 day before KZ2?

It's not going to be popular it's a RTS, all the people who like Halo will buy it and think it sucks.

Halo Wars is a realtime strategy game from Bungie that recreates the Halo Universe in a strategy game. like red alert 3 or company of heroes. It is very anticipated by Xbox 360 gamers like me.. Probably it will be a better game than halo 3 and the date is just pure coincidence..

There are only a few base locations on each scenario or map, making base fortification and defense a key priority. Destruction of a player's last base results in defeat if a new base is not quickly reestablished. Bases are where units are trained, upgrades are researched, and resources are gathered.

I assume they are releasing it a day ahead of KZ2 to get the jump on Sony's new killer app !

I think people are looking more forward to Halo ODST.

Like everyone else said, its an RTS.

Despite being a PS3 owner, I like Halo (I played CE up till 2 in the morning lol) but I think they botched it with Wars. Microsoft is going to to take a great series and turn it into a Disney trend, releasing god knows what Halo 4000. I think they should have stopped at 3, or better yet, move on to Halo 4.
