What is so great about Halo 3 ODST?

I should be really excited about this game but for some reason it's just not doing it for me.

Give me 3-5 reasons on why it is so udderly incredible.

I'd much rather have Need for Speed: Shift and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

There's nothing to be excited about with this game.

This is Halo we're talking about here.
Playing as a human will make no difference in the tactics or strategy of the game. It's Halo for crying out loud, hold RT and you win.

The campaign is only 4 hours long, and they only add ONE new multiplayer game type.

not worth it.

My only reason I cn give you is that I have finnished every other Halo game so I want something new (I tried CoD and Gears of War etc but I personally like Halo more). I dont know much more about ODST except it is the new Halo game and is open world.

As far as the Halo series goes, there's not much for which to be excited.

As far as video games in general go... it's Halo. That's enough reason to be excited.

Dude your ****ing reading my mind! I was thinking the exact same thing, I heard about it and I was like 'ooh odst... Um yay?' so I think that bungie is just biding their time for reach which is gonna kick!
To answer your question:
1:halo reach beta
2:new weapons
3:your teammates don't suck balls
4:you get to laugh at how bungie included the brutes even though they hadn't been fighting for the covenant yet
5:um... your abilities are slashed, you can't jump like at all, and you don't have shields?

Or where you asking for good things?

Not exactly super hyped, but I see the appeal.

1.) You can play as Sgt. Johnson if you pre-order. Some people like him.
2.) Basically has a survival mode that's co-op.
3.) You play a human, meaning that tactics are going to be completely different from run and gun.
4.) The storytelling, from what I've seen, is a little more deep than the other games. You play one soldier in a city, and as you uncover remnants of deceased allies, you get to relive their past experiences. Sort of deep, kind of cool.

While I'm not stoked, I am still a little impressed with Bungie that the Halo craze has not slowed down.
