What is the best Halo 3 weapon?

Spartan Laser: is the most destructive but slow to charge.
Rocket Launcher: good damage but only two rockets then you have to reload
missile pod : great damage and six shots but no reloading

Sniper rifle, because its bullet flies faster than anything else, you can kill anyone with one head shot, and there is usually 12 rounds in it. So if you are skilled and can pull off head shots most of the time then SR is the best weapon.
