What is the easiest way to get to level 50 in halo 3??

I have gotten up to 46 in lone wolves, double team, and team slayer... but still wish to climb higher. What is the best/easiest way to get to 50? And how does the leveling system work this high up in levels?

I have a feeling that a lot of it is just perseverance, but there's got to be a good place to start...

Well, I'm a halo widow! My husband has done extensive research on the ranking because he couldn't make it to major for the longest time and it was driving him crazy!

Using different weapons instead of relying on the same ones helps. Changing the way you fight seems to help too. We would take turns and our styles are different and that seemed to help him rank up.

I'm not sure how this would help you since you are already pretty highly ranked - beating people that are higher ranked ranks you up faster too. If you are always kicking the butts of lower ranked fighters, you will level out.

But mostly like you said, it's perseverance. Some nights he ranks up like crazy and other nights nothing.
