What should I do in Halo Wars?

I got Halo Wars for the Xbox 360 and I'm trying to find good strategies. But first, should I rush or do a big attack? Whatever you think is better, tell me a good strategy for that. Any help is very appreciated! Thanks!!

in 1 vs 1, rush using the covenant rush technique because its the best. On 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4, DONT! Only if you guys have your own plan and are good enough.

The best tip I can give you is not to be stupid. If you pick UNSC don't just use your specialized unit (Grizzles, Hawks, ODSTs), for me once I see that character I know what my opponent is going to do. Rarely do I see a person start by training a different unit, which allows me to train the best unit against that unit (Hawks get pwn'd by Vampires). I pick the Arbiter, because nobody can foresee what I will do.
