What Should I Get Halo Wars Or Gears Of War 2?

I get my xbox back from microsoft tomarrow and was wondering which do you like more

i have played the halo demo and it was awsome i played it for hours and gears 2 i played before but i didnt have live so which is better with live

1.which one do you like
2.which one is better in live

Gears sucks online cus it takes like 30 minutes to get a game but the gameplay is really nice. I love its offline play!

Halowars is a great strategy game! Its online modes are simple but you need skill to play this game. Its all up to you. Both games are great!

Halo Wars would be better option, especially if you are into things such as WoW or RuneScape as it is pretty much the same except a lot funner.

Gears of War isn't to bad but you don't always have a good connection and it hasn't got that good graphics.

Halo Wars always has a good connextion as you can only have up to 8 people on one server.

Halo Wars would be my preferred option.

Well it all depends on you. Personally im a huge fan of all RTS games, but i've only played GOW2 once. Gears of War is fun for a couple hours if you play on live, but I can literally play Halo Wars and never get bored. Halo wars takes strategy and Gears of War is more of the run n' gun sorta deal, so yea, like I said, it's just whatever type of genre you'd prefer.

Gears of War 2. I have only played through the story mode so far but I'm not a big Halo fan..

ive had both the games (sold halo wars) (kept gears)

i sold halo wars mainly because there was 2 game modes online and i got bored in a week.

but gears of war, people say it takes 30mins to get into a game.
NO IT DOESNT, it takes 1minute (if that)
i advise you to get gears of war 2 over halo wars.

p.s. gears of war 2 story mode is better than halo wars

Gears Of War 2 has to be my option because first of all it has LOADS of people playing it online. You can also play horde with your friends or create your own matches which makes it a fun time (especially when playing with friends). Matchmaking is much faster than what it used to be so no, it does not take 30 minutes to find a match! The campaign is a good fun experience which is worth the play.

Halo Wars is a good video console strategy game, I recommend it if you're into RTS's. If not, get GoW 2.
