What strategy do you use on halo wars?

Whoever tells me the best strategy they use on halo wars will get the best answer

First thing I do is build up the supply pads and al the bases That I'd use such as the vehicle depot, the armory, turrets, everything, and start upgrading the turrets and the supply pads and everything, I don't get any infintry out or vehicles out at all until I am upgraded to the best I can be, my turrets will fight off all the troops that attack my base towards the beginning so im safe.
