when i play halo 3,my NAT type isnt open.....?

It says"Your NAT type is not open,Matchmaking may be slow", and it is really slow. How do i adjust the NAT type.

you go into the far right screen in the opening thing (before any games load), and select network. if u troubleshoot our connection, on of the categorys is NAT type. simply slect it, and change it to open.
