whenever i'm on xbox live for halo 3 and do a search for other players it keeps...

...restarting,how do i stop that? i go into any game on xbox live for halo 3 and after it searches for all the players and says player found for each slot, a small box near the bottom of the screen pops up saying "restarting search" how do i stop this?
