Which game is better for the pc, halo combat wars or counter strike?

I want to buy a game for my computer but I do not which one to choose from these two.

uhhh... not sure what u mean by halo COMBAT WARS but im gonna assume u ment halo COMBAT EVOLVED...

anyway unless u reallllly like modding or playing with modders on modded maps go with counter strike.
CS has been around 4 a long time but its still one of the best shooters for the pc. getting CS might b more expensive since ull want 2 buy all the expansions but its definately worth it.

if ur just trying 2 steer clear of hackers/modders CHOOSE DIFFERENT GAMES. both games are full of modded servers and people who use mods/cheats. by the way shooters are much better on consoles like the xbox 360 and ps3

i say get an xbox 360. You can get one for under 300 bucks, you dont get viruses on em, and ur not stuck with these super geeky people who think their cool cuz they have their own servers.
