Halo 3 should easily be the answer, it blew TONS of games out of the water for best selling of week/day/month/year!
Halo 2 was a great seller too, but Halo 3 just owns Gow2, gow2 is a good game but it has no popularity match to halo 3, halo is a much easier and better matchmaking game, more younger gamers play it rather then gow2, due to the hard controls and its more strategic!
