Which is better? Gears of war 2 or halo 3?

in my opinion GOW is a better game but i like third person shooters better than 1st

being a halo 3 freak i will choose halo 3.
also becuz GoW2 isnt out yet.
i think GoW2 is goin to be faintly better then GoW becuz i saw a lot of preview plays and betas and it was all impressing like the first one was wen it came out.
