Which should I get Halo 3 ODST or Halo wars?

I've pre-ordered Halo reach, but then I realized there was these two I've never played. I know that ODST is a prequel and I know wars is a strategy I was just wondering, in your opinion which is the best?

It all depends on what you like. Halo ODST is more story based. Plus it is a FPS, where as wars is a RTS. So its all really up to what you like. I liked wars better, but thats just because I hated ODST.

well, if you did not know Halo wars was made by a different company than bungie (if that affects your decision).

I would choose halo 3: ODST because of the vidmasters and firefight. Plus i know many people that use and play Halo 3: ODST more than halo wars.
Unfortunately neither have forge, and ODST does not have firefight matchmaking. Even though this might be unappealing Halo 3: ODST is still a good game. Plus if you get all vidmaster achievements (only on Halo 3: ODST) you will get the legendary RECON armour for Halo 3!
