Why did Bungie even bother creating Halo Wars?

I mean, i played it at a video game store when it first came out and it's like Pikmin 2 but far worse!

its an RTS, I know a couple people that actually enjoy the game. People who like Starcraft or Ages Of Empires usually enjoy the game, that and crazy halo fans. I personally dont enjoy it, but I know my boyfriend has beat it a few times. Then again, he falls under all the previous classifications of a person who enjoys the game.

Also, Bungie didn't make Halo Wars, the same creators of Age Of Mythology made it, Bungie sold the rights to them to make the game. Halo 1 was originally supposed to be a RTS for the MAC but they decided to try making a 3rd person shooter, but ended up making it a FPS.

to broden there horizons and attempt to bring a new crowd of people into the series

since thereare many fans of the rts genre i think this worked pretty sucessfully

and remember everything thing boils down to money

Don't really agree that it is bad but he did it probably for the money and the once that like real time strategy games.
