Why did my Halo 3 rank just reset to 1?

It was at 12 and now it's at 1. I don't really care but it's just weird.

could be a connection glitch or your profile might be corrupt

Your rank depends on what you play you can't be the same level in every game because halo doesn't work like that. The way halo works is every game type starts off at one for example you can play team slayer and become a level 35 but once you play team snipers that level 35 doesn't exist anymore you start off at one it all depends on what you play more you'll get the hang of the ranking system on halo the more you play
