Why did my Halo 3 ranking go down?

I was a captain until i stopped playing. now i Just started playing again and my rank went back down to recuit. it was about a 5 or 6 months since i played last. what is going on?

I play Halo 3 too. Mine did the same thing. Your old raking is still there. But in the update that we would have done had put a new ranking on. Bungi or Microsoft are stupid for doing that because it has just confused people doing it.
