Why doesn't my skill go up in halo 3?

it says my highest is 15 but its staying at 14 i got mvp 2 games in a row but it still wont go up can some one tell me? i think it is because once i quit like 6 lonewolves in a row cuz i was trying to get the right map cuz i was trying to get the mongoose mowdown but my highest skill is in team slayer so can that be the cause ? plz help me and tell me.

just keep winning, its gonna get harder and harder especially in team slayer. I've been at 28-30 for the longest time myself so just keep going for it and as you win more and get higher scores you'll go up eventually. Don't quit games though.
