Why I cant find my Halo 3 ODST Sgt Johnson Code?

I preordered halo 3 odst from amazon.com a little over a month ago, excited to be able to play firefight as Sgt Johnson. But i either 1-do not know where to find the code or 2- did not receive a code. is it because i got it from amazon?

Might be! The card is inside the game case. Or in my "case" taped on the front of it. I preorederd mine from Gamestop. It would be pretty obvious if you had it so... Id call amazon.
