Why is Halo 3 Matchmaking lagging?

I will be walking, then reappear somewhere completely different. Or I'll be walking and then just fall down...somebody tell me how to fix this.

i've got a wireless connector on the back of my xbox that costs a $100. the guy at circuit city told me that once i bought that, that i shouldn't have any problems with my connection, yet im having a miserable playing time!

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!

Lol the only thing the guy cared about at Circuit City was your money. Did you happen to know they went Bankrupt? the best connection you can get is from an ethernet connection.
