Why is Halo 3 meant to be good?

I played halo 3 online yesterday and my god it was terrible all i saw was idiots super jumping everywhere and retards in ghosts running people over -_- is this what makes halo 3 "amazing" because honestly im not impressed at all. The weapons are stupid for example the alien sniper thing wtf is the point you are better off throwing your ammo clip at their head.

Seriously show me how Halo 3 is one of the best games on xbox 360 (it doesnt deserve to be on PC).

You have a different taste thats all, if some people like the game and you dont, it doesnt mean its overhyped, i have the game and i like it, and you dont, its just that you have a differnet taste
