will a special halo 3 edition hard drive work on a plain xbox 360(the white one)?

I just bought a xbox 360 off ebay and it has no hard drive and i found a special halo 3 edition hard drive...my qeustion is will it work on the white xbox 360 and do you think it would look cool? please answer because the item ends in 5 hours...
so do you think it would look cool?3 hours left

it should work because they are the same system just the colors are different. just know what you are doing when you switch the hard drives.

Yes, it will work because its just a memory unit painted a different color so its the same thing as the old hard drive but different color.
